The recent call by prominent Liberals and Democrat leaders to re-impose the Fairness Doctrine is an unashamed push to impose censorship in favor of the Liberal agenda. They claim not to want conservative talk hushed on the radio waves but to give opposing views a chance to be heard.  Liberal talk radio has been tried (Air America) and failed in most markets. Face it, the free market of ideas favors conservative talk radio. If listeners don’t like what is heard on a particular station, then change the dial.           Since my political awakening on September 11th, 2001, with the image of the destroyed twin towers burned into my brain, I have become a conservative talk radio junkie.  It began with daily doses of Michael Savage, a sprinkling of Lars Larson for a Northwest focus, and hourly news updates from Fox radio. Over time, I discovered all of the great conservative voices being broadcast over AM radio: the voices of Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Shawn Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Bill O’Reilly, Hugh Hewitt and Michael Medved to name several but not all.
